Who designs the fabric?
I do! All of the prints you see on fabric designs in the Clever Betty™ shop are designed in-house by Lauren and are exclusive to this website: you won't find them anywhere else! Sewing patterns are also designed in-house and are exclusive to this shop. I create all of the handmade goods in my studio with my own two hands.

What is the quality of your fabric like?
I'm very interested in only purchasing "green" products. Can I buy your fabrics?
Clever Betty™ fabric is printed on 100% Kona® Cotton unless otherwise noted, and is always printed with eco-friendly, water based pigments in the United States.  

How will I receive my order and when?

I like the print, but what I want to make won't work with cotton. Can I get your fabric designs printed on something else?
At this time, Clever Betty only sells our fabric patterns on Kona® Cotton. 

Are you on social media?
Of course! You can find Lauren snapping photos on Instagram and pinning away on Pinterest.

I want to show you what I made from your fabric! Where should I do so?
We would love to see your creations and have a Flickr Photo Group specifically for that reason. Thanks for showing us what you've made!

Can I sell what I make from your fabric, kits, and/or patterns?
All designs, images, and elements on this website (including, but not limited to the Clever Betty™ logo and name, and the You Had Me at Handmade™ tagline) © 2013 Clever Betty™ LLC, all rights reserved. You may not reproduce, re-create or sell images in any way. 

Reproducing or modifying any Clever Betty fabric, pattern or handmade item for monetary gain is a violation of copyright and can be prosecuted by law. 

What if I like a print I see on your fabric, and I want to use it on a type of product you don't sell... like stationery?
If you are a business owner that sells a product, for instance, stationery, and you like a Clever Betty™ design, please contact me to discuss a collaborative project! You may not use any images from this site or designs you find on my products without my consent.

I live in Missouri. Does that mean I have to pay sales tax?
Yes. Clever Betty is located in St. Louis, Missouri, and thus, I must charge sales tax for items being shipped to addresses within the state of Missouri. This will all be taken care of automatically when you check out!
